💜 Patrick the Purkle Beastie

From a distance, Patrick looks like someone you should probably avoid. He’s tall. He’s toothy. He wears a bone-stamped bandana like he just walked out of a forest rumble. But get within hugging distance and you’ll realize something very important: Patrick is the softest, gentlest, most lovingly chaotic soul in the Bekkalek Beastie-verse — and he smells like cookies.

🪴 Cookies, Cuddles & Cold Weather Knits

Patrick lives in a crooked little cottage on the edge of the Beastie-verse, surrounded by a wild tangle of garden beds, wandering rabbits, and a rotating cast of critters he definitely didn’t invite but absolutely leaves food out for. His favorite things include: monster cookies (which he bakes by feel), oversized mugs, and knitting absurdly tiny hats for the bunnies that nest outside his door.

He once hand-quilted a blanket for a hedgehog with anxiety. Another time, he tried to build a greenhouse entirely out of recycled jam jars (it didn’t work, but it looked fantastic). Patrick’s projects don’t always make sense, but they always come from the heart — and his big, squashy heart is one of the best things about him.

🍪 Monster Cookie Magic

Patrick doesn’t use a recipe. His cookies are made from instinct, vibe, and whatever ingredients are handy — usually oats, nut butter, honey, and a handful of chocolate chips he swears he meant to measure. They’re naturally gluten- and dairy-free (he likes snacks that everyone can enjoy), and no two batches are ever quite the same.

Whenever a Beastie is having a bad day, Patrick shows up with a lumpy paper bag, a warm smile, and a thermos of something herbal. He never pushes. He just sits nearby — big and calm and humming low — until the world feels safe again.

🐻 Henry & the Garden Plan

Patrick and Henry the Honey Bear are tea-time soulmates. Every Thursday evening, they sit under the porch awning and scribble ideas for Henry’s future tea shop. Patrick is in charge of the garden layout. “Lavender in the morning sun, hibiscus near the south wall,” he mutters, sketching with a stick of charcoal. “We’ll need space for the bees too, obviously.”

He’s already started growing things in labeled planters — just in case. It’s not official yet, but that hasn’t stopped him from gifting Henry a custom mug with a sketched version of the future building on the side.

🦎 Leonard's Influence

Patrick doesn’t fully understand Leonard the Lizard’s chaotic sparkle-hoarding habits, but he finds them endearing. Leonard once brought him a rock shaped like a potato and told him it had “gardening energy.” Patrick still keeps it near his compost bin, just in case. The two have an unspoken friendship built on mutual respect and shared silence — and the occasional cookie-for-clue exchange.

💜 What Makes Patrick Special

Patrick is strong. Protective. Quiet. But also — the kind of Beastie who mends things no one asked him to fix, leaves soup on porches when someone’s gone quiet, and cries at the same part of the same story every time. He’s a hugger. A baker. A soft-voiced keeper of tiny things.

He’s the first one to show up and the last to leave. He remembers when others forget. And while he may look intimidating from a distance, anyone who’s ever been wrapped in one of his rib-cracking hugs knows: Patrick is pure, purple comfort.

He doesn’t say much. He doesn’t need to.
